Problem with Adding Overlay PNG Images

Hi,

For some reason when I drag a png image into the timeline to act as an overlay image on my video clip, it is not transparent and blocks the entire video.
This is just a new problem I have, it worked perfectly last week.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which version of Shotcut? Which OS?

No problems here.

Attached is a 1920x1080px transparent PNG. Try it. Works for me in the latest version on Windows 10 64bit

You are using same overlay? being transparent, still?

I have been using the latest 17.03 version of Shotcut and on a Windows 8. I was using an old desktop computer with only 4GB of RAM. I switched to my laptop which has a higher amount of RAM and it seems to be working fine.
