I added filters such as Glitch, and some transitions I downloaded from Pixabay to a portrait video, and now the video won’t play in full screen on my phone in the portrait orientation, which is the original orientation of the video. Clips without any filters, transitions, etc. still play full screen portrait. Is there a way to keep the filters from changing the orientation?
Thanks
Filters don’t change orientation with the exception of Size, Position & Rotate when you choose to rotate it. You will need to dig deeper into what went wrong or show people what you have done. Orientation is controlled in Properties > Video.
Yes, thank you. I think what went wrong is I should have set the video mode to 9:16 BEFORE I imported the file. The file played fine (full screen on my phone in portrait mode) without changing the video setting, but when you add filters, such as Glitch, etc., it messes things up, and going into each section and trying to use S/P/R after the fact has unexpected results. Bottom line: if I’m making a portrait video and want to add effects, change the video mode settings beforehand. I used Custom and set it to 1080x1920, 9:16, 30fps.
