Popping Sound in Reversed MP3

What is your operating system?
Windows 10

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
64-bit

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
(Please be specific and use the names as seen in Shotcut, preferably English. Include a screenshot or screen recording if you can. Also, you can attach logs from either View > Application Log or right-click a job and choose View Log.)
After reversing the audio on an mp3 file, it now has a popping noise throughout. How would I go about fixing this?

You didn’t say what your version of Shotcut is. As it says in the instructions go to Help>About Shotcut to find out what version you are using.

My apologies.
Version 20.09.27

I think I have experienced this before. I suggest to try converting the MP3 to a .wav file. MP3 files do not seek as well as .wav files.

Provide the steps please. For example we do not know how you reversed it and what options were chosen.
