Issue:
Accidentally popped out the ‘properties’ window from where it used to be (as another tab with Playlist/Filters/Export/Subtitles to the left of the video player). Now I’m trying to pop it back in but don’t know how.

You can double-clic on the panel head to send it back in its dock
Or you can simply grab it and drag it in the dock.

here’s what happens when I try to double-clic on the panel head. I’ve also tried grabbing and dragging but couldn’t get that to work either.
OK. It work on Windows, but it seems to be different on your operating system (linux ?)
Try doing this:
Left click and hold here, where you have the pointer.
Drag to the tile of the Presets. The Preset box with highlight.
Release left click.
At least this works in Windows as @MusicalBox indicates.
You can also restore to the default layout.
Another Linux user reported a similar problem that is not in our code
Maybe you are having trouble with Wayland on Linux or with whatever is your window manager because both of what we answered work on a normal functioning system. Qt coordinates this with the window manager.
Also, you can edit Glaxnimate’s configuration data. Use Help > About > Paths and click the icon for Settings. It opens in a text editor for me. You should close Glaxnimate before saving the changes in the text editor. Otherwise, Glaxnimate will likely overwrite the settings on close. Remove c…
