Does Ctrl+C to copy a clip work as an alternative? Switch to the Source tab (hot key: P) to see the copied clip. This essentially lets you see the clipboard after a copy. Or do you need to copy more than a single clip?

This will only copy one clip on one track @Austin.

Copy Timeline to Source copied all tracks (video clip on V1 and text on V2 for example) to the source. It was then possible to trim the source and export only a portion of the timeline.

If that’s what you want to do @ConteudoAnimal, this is now done using marker.
