Split at Playhead (S) is an essential component of video editing and goes hand in hand with Remove (X) in the function of editing video. Leaving these two vital elements out of the right click menu in V23.05.14 has hobbled the usability of Shortcut as a video editor.
When I right click in V23.05.14 I get the cut (delete) and ripple delete options.
And split is much faster executed with the keyboard shortcut.
Just use Shift-O to set the end point of the current clip and Shift-I to set the In point.
Using Right-Click menu to edit video is not very effective, learn the keyboard shortcuts to take it to the next level.
