I have been using Shotcut for about 2 years now and love it. However, my 10 year old laptop, despite some hardware upgrades to SSD C drive and 8 to 16Gb ram, is still a bit clunky. I use proxy all the time and that works well. But I am slowly coming around to looking for a new machine, without breaking the bank. I have a budget of about £600 and would need a 15" screen and preferably another laptop. So I was wondering if anyone on the forum could recommend a machine for me. I currently have a HP Pavilion 15. I don’t necessarily need to buy new as good used machines are often the best buy.
