Paste videos on properties

Good morning.

I’m new here. I’ve just downloaded the Shotcut video editor this morning and beginning to learn for his use on the video “Getting Started”. I’ve one problem, not for to understand, but with the editor. When I want to paste one video on “properties”, space “commentaries”, I’ve not the video on “Playlist” but only a link relative with the video.

Do you know the solution?

Hello,
The space “Comments” is reserved for your personal notes.
You must click on “open file” to send your video to the player. At that moment, you have two possibilities:
1- Shift + V to send it in the Playlist.
2- Ctrl + V to send it to the Timeline.
