Trying to get an image in a video I’m working on to fade in but only partially, and I’m not sure how to do so. Tried looking in keyframes and this was all I’m able to see, meaning I can only make the image fade in slower or faster.
I’m on Ubuntu, using the shotcut-linux-x86_64-26.2.26 AppImage.
Is it possible for me to get an image to fade in only partially, and if so, how?
Do you mean once the image is integrated, it’s partially transparent? Use the Opacity filter
But Fade In Video has a checkbox to affect opacity. Surely, @Arthur_Wang saw that?! Maybe “partially” means like a transition wipe? If so, you can either add a transparent or black color clip and make a transition with it. Or, you can use the Mask: From File filter.
