Can you add support for the OpenFX API? It is a very useful API for video editors that allows third-parties to develop add-ons for any application that supports it. I have included a Wikipedia article to help explain it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenFX_(API)

I second this so much. I’m currently looking for alternatives to Premiere Pro, and found Shotcut today, but now that I realised it doesn’t have OpenFX support I’ll have to keep looking - I rely so much on OpenFX plugins for my work.
If it helps, the free software Natron supports OpenFX
it’s a great complement to Shotcut
