I am using version SC v23.06.14. As I mentioned in the attachment below, when I say “Open file” in pose 3, can we open files from the path (E:\Videos) in pose 2?
C:....Videos section opens by default now.
File > Open is sticky, which means that after you choose OK in a new location, the next time you choose Open it uses the last location. Your suggestion to use (1) is unacceptable. That is only the location where new project folders will be located (per its label), but Open is about any kind of file - mainly media.
