Shotcut has the Record audio button in the Timeline panel, which captures audio and places its audio clip on an additional track.
It would be wonderful if the user could create a full-fledged video instead of just audio. The video feed would come from the user’s laptop webcam or an external USB camera connected to the laptop.
Most importantly, this should be possible with a single click on a button, without complex set up.
