Hi there,
In the latest Glaxnimate versions in Shotcut, the node tools need to activated manually. I can’t see any reason for this. Glaxnimate is just a very basic drawing and animation program, so there’s no reason to fear overpopulation of the toolbar. Node tools, however, are essential to vector editing. It’d be great if the node tools could be displayed by default again.
P.S.: I just checked the current standalone Glaxnimate version, where the node tools are visble by default.
Are you talking about View > Toolbars > Node Editing? This only appears when either A) you choose it from the menu or B) you choose the node Edit tool (also in the menu at Tools > Edit). The behavior is the same between our bundled version and the separately distributed 0.5.4 version. I do not make arbitrary behavior changes as a fork; only build fixes or other critical bug fixes pending upstream’s hopeful merging my submission.
Please ignore what I wrote. I just installed the latest version of Shotcut, where everything works as expected.
