Yes, unfortunately, that change was pushed just after the nightly builds started! Ugh. The fix is easy: In your shotcut install folder go to share\shotcut\qml\filters\mirror and edit meta.qml in a text editor. Change
mlt_service: "mirror"
to
mlt_service: "avfilter.hflip"
