Funny. I was watching a Casey Faris video the other day where he was reviewing the new features in DaVinci Resolve version 20. It was amusing to see how excited he was about the new ability to add multiple Text layers to the same clip. I guess they could already do it in Fusion, but that’s new in the Edit page. Text wrap (justify) is also a new thing.

We’ve been able to do that in Shotcut for as long as I can remember.

No one can beat OpenShot’s templates for this… it would be nice to incorporate OpenEmoji. Of course, anyone could create their own with Inkscape and drag and drop the image!

  • In the Filters panel:
Copy Current, Copy Enabled, Copy All

  • Ability to use Ctrl to constrain vertical/horizontal movements in the Preview panel.

These a two very useful new features for me.

Glaxnimate includes emojis, and you can download JSON animated emojis to include. See our Resources web page.

Nothing stops someone from making and sharing some .rawr title templates to use with Glaxnimate, but the developers are already busy.

Hi @TLR_Pictures , I think you could improve your tutorials by adding YouTube chapters. It splits the video into sections so viewers can jump straight to the different sections. Easy to do, just add text similar to this (these are just silly examples) in the YouTube written description and YouTube will add the sections automatically:

 0:00 Introduction
00:34 Section 1 - how to do this...
01:21 Section 2 - how to do that...

NB - You HAVE to begin with 0:00 (I believe).

Shotcut includes a feature to help with this:

  • Create markers on the timeline
  • Edit the marker text
  • Hint: press M twice to create the marker and open its edit dialog
  • File > Export > Markers as Chapters
  • Open the generated text file in a text editor to copy it to the clipboard.
