New hiking video - with 2 cameras

this time, played with 2 different sources: an action cam shooting 1080p and a drone shooting 4k.
was quiet fun to merge everything to create a consistent movie.
nevertheless, i’m starting feeling the limited performances of my laptop, as editing becomes sluggish during 4k clips editing. but overall, was still able to complete successfully with comfortable performances.

Great looking video. I like the intro.

I am curious if you set your Video Mode to 1080 or 4K. I wonder which would give the best editing experience in your situation.

no sure if that answers you question but project was set as 1080p even before importing any clips. and i usually start importing the cam first, so 1080p first.
haven’t tried to compare both modes, but had some experience with full 4k (project setup+shots+output) and that was muuuuuuch slower.

Well worth the hike to get to that stunning panoramic scenery at the end! Enjoyed it!

thanks, happy you liked it.

A new one around a lake where i live:

still astounded by the easiness of shotcut once you’ve understood a few tips: fast and efficient piece of software !
