Need Help Adding Text

When I press Filters on the tab on the top of my screen, it opens the Filters UI. Now, as I’ve seen on YouTube videos, you need to press the “+” button to select “Text” through the different option. However, I cannot press the “+” button. Can someone explain?

“nothing selected” is a very strong hint what you need to do: select something. Select something in the Timeline (or Open a clip and work with it in the Source player).
