I discovered the slideshow generator which is great since it creates the transitions for you for a lot of images. However, once created, I would like to adjust the duration of certain images to fit the audio description. I have tried tinkering with specific images but it ruined the transition instead. Is it possible to just click on the slide and changed the duration from 15sec to 20sec for instance? Thanks a lot.
Yes, turn on Ripple to do so:
And ensure you are dragging the correct handle: the clip and the transition each have one close to each other.
Hi, thanks for helping. I found the ripple button but the result is the same. The effect for the image is completely different: before reducing the duration, there is a slight zoom but after the image goes away. I made a video to better explain it (since I’m probably not using the correct technical terms). Thank you so much.

Your video shows you are not doing it right. First, zoom out the timeline so your transitions are wider. You are selecting the LAST part of image 1, not the FIRST part of the transition. They are right next to each other. The line must turn GREEN, not RED, as in your demo. Hover the mouse and very slightly move it horizontally. Soon your line will turn green. Then drag the green line.
Actually, you might also want to experiment with turning ripple OFF, as well.
