Newbie. We are attempting to convert the MLT file created when we shortened a film clip. We clicked on “export,” which showed that it would export to an mp4 file. The program did this and we were able to save the file to our computer as a playable mp4 file. The problem-it took a half hour to convert a 2 minute MLT file to mp4. Really! This seems excessive, what have we done wrong?
Depending upon the source video/images, filters used, video mode, export settings, including your computer specifications and software environment, it may not be excessive.
