I was editing my video in Shotcut and I just started I was a beginner, so when I edited it and stuff it said .mlt I couldn’t use it so I change it to VLC Media Player, it still wasn’t working and stuff so I heard about export it to mp4 so I did that and then when I saved it cause I added a little upgrades to my video it was VLC Media Player and I couldn’t use my video that I worked hard on and I don’t want to restart and I don’t know what other video converter I can use for .mlt so please I need help and this is my first post I just tried to post this for help and I barely think that people check this everyone day so I’ll try to check my topic every hour…
.mlt is a project file, not a video.
I still need help please hlep.
It’s difficult to know what you’re talking about.
An .mlt file is a project information file, not a video file.
If you chose ‘Save As’ you were not saving a video, you were only saving the project information about your video and edits.
You need to export your video to the selected format (eg: .mp4) to have a playable file. The .mlt is not a playable file.
I have no idea what you’re talking about with regard to your comments;
"so when I edited it and stuff it said .mlt I couldn’t use it so I change it to VLC Media Player, it still wasn’t working and stuff"
I honestly can’t help at all there.
Okay thank you but do you know a playable file I can use, it’s kinda like a suggestion just something. Not basically a question but one I can recommend because in all Converter video I used it and it didn’t work because it had VLC Media Player and VLC Media Player can’t use it due to changing .mlt to a file but I don’t want to hear stuff about .mlt and not getting you angry just asking for a recommended playable file video thing.
