Merged "Move timeline clip" command produces an unexpected result

What should be the expected result from this operation?

  1. Create a single timeline track.
  2. Move an image or video from the Source tab to the timeline track 1.
  3. Move the clip 5 to 7 times to the right.
    “Move timeline clip” is merged as one as expected in the History panel.
  4. Undo once.
  5. Redo once.

To my mind, the clip should go all the way to the right.
This may actually be intended, so I’d rather not categorize it under bug for now.

Tested on Windows 11.
Tested with Shotcut version 25.01.25.
