Hello. It it possible to merge 2 or more .mlt files to create a single project?
And, on the contrary, it is possible to easily separate a project into 2 or more .mlt files?
Create a new project with the same video mode as the others. Then, open each project to be included using File > Open MLT XML as Clip. Add it to the timeline or playlist (maybe you only need to use a playlist if you do not plan to add more tracks). Repeat.

Not easily, but turn on Ripple All Tracks on the Timeline toolbar:
Then, start removing clips from the beginning or end to reduce the timeline and keep all tracks in sync. You can right-click and choose Remove or ripple delete using Shift+Backspace (or Shift+Delete). When you get to where you want, use File > Save As.
I supposed that this was the only way and so I had to do sometimes. But when I said “easily” I wished that in Shotcut it would have been a function designed to cut a project in a specified point. Thank you anyway.
