Hello all, help hopefully this is just a user error on my part?
I cannot get my **player **to switch BACK to timeline after I’ve switched it to source( after I have “copied source to timeline”, never happened prior to this). The “TIMELINE” button (located on the bottom of the player) is highlighted as if I have chosen TIMELINE however it continues to play my source clip. I’ve tried quitting Shotcut & reopening also to no avail, wondering if this is just me.please ? THX!
Click the Project tab below the player. There is no Timeline button or tab on the player. There is a panel named “Timeline” that may or may not have a tab depending. Clicking that alone does not affect the player.
I did do that, to no avail ( I meant to say “project tab” not timeline tab). I’ve had Shotcut today keep showing ( not reponding) after each transaction I make*( with the blue rendering symbol turning & just lingering then the screen turning translucent white ),* I’m wondering if it’s just lagging after I’ve already chosen project. However, I waited around for a while & it continued to display the source with the “project” tab chosen …
When you use Shotcut do you turn off all other softwares including your internet to get it to run quicker? How do I make it run quicker in general?

You might have other instances of Shotcut hung and still resident in the background. I suggest to reboot.
It just crashed right now. I had accidentally put for a clip to play 45 X faster times it’s speed instead of 4.5, & it had crashed. Does that happen to you guys?
