Making a video landscape

Hey Everyone, I’m the Program Director for a Boy Scout camp and pretty new to video editing (made a few on my friend’s mac in college for classes in movie maker). Most of the pictures we take or receive are in landscape and I think our end of week slideshow looks better in landscape as well, does anyone know if there is a way to change the video style to landscape instead of portrait?

You can select the clip or picture and go to filters and add “Rotate and Scale”.
There you are able to rotate by 90° (or any other angle) to suit your needs.

Do you mean 9:16 instead of 16:9 apect ratio?

Look in Video Mode in Settings or the New Project video, and choose what you want - landscape (16:9) or vertical (9:16).
