since 2023/05/14, if i save a mp4 or wav, the name on disc has not the
extension mp4 or wav
Saving is writing the project file to an mlt extension.

It is working for me whether I use a preset or change format in advanced mode.
i clicked on the preset and than export. the format of the file is that specified,
but the name has not the extension. *.mp4
Maybe a silly question, but what about the other files on your computer?
Do they display their extensions?
Maybe you inadvertently disabled the display of file extensions in your folders.

no this is only on saved shotcut-files.
now it happens not always on 1 hour of working that the extension mp4 is there and next file not.
