I am on a mac V11.4 with an M1 chip. The application keeps crashing whenever I try to add a mic or camera for a voiceover. I’m assuming this is because the application never asks for permission (and it isn’t approved in my security and privacy). I even went back to [v21.06.29] and it still doesn’t work.
Plz help.
Use what came in your operating system instead: QuickTime Player. It works better anyway.
I just tested this with the latest version 21.10 on macOS 11.6 (Apple Silicon) with a Logitech webcam, and it is working for me without crash. However, there is a regression in integrity of capture with some recent technology upgrades and adaptions to changed APIs that needs debugging.
