Loss of audio with custom filter set that contains fade out audio

What is your operating system? Windows 11

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? 25.03.29

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps? YES - If you apply multiple filters to a clip as a set (for me, I add fade in video, fade out video, fade in audio, and fade out audio all at once), the audio simply "cuts out " around the 4:47 mark. This has been happening since 2 updates ago. The “fix” is to just cut the audio before the problem and amazingly it is just fine after that no matter how long the audio track is.

I think when you save the filter set with fade-outs it includes something about the duration of the clip at the time of saving. “Out” things are dependent upon duration. When you do a Split, Shotcut updates filters to deal with this. It seems when applying the filter set it needs to do the same.

BTW, do you know about the Track Auto Fade Audio and Track Auto Fade Video filters that you can add to tracks?

Can you please clarify that you are using the feature we call “Set” inside “Filters?”

I didn’t know about the auto fade video/audio options but will look into them for sure!

I’m definitely using a set of filters. It is a group of 4 filters that I saved as a set and continually use. The fade out audio seems to happen at 4:51 regardless of how long the clip is. It does not occur at the end of the clip unless the clip is 4:51 or less in length.
