Lock Audio 1 doesn't work

Bug Report: Locking Audio Track Incorrectly Locks Video Track

Description:
When editing a project with multiple audio and video tracks, attempting to lock Audio 1 does not lock it as expected. Instead, Video 1 becomes locked, while Audio 1 remains editable. The UI incorrectly shows Audio 1 as locked, but its clips can still be moved or edited freely.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open a project with multiple audio and video tracks.
  2. Add clips to Audio 1 and Video 1.
  3. Click the lock icon on Audio 1.
  4. Observe that Audio 1 shows as locked, but you can still move its clips.
  5. Try to move clips on Video 1 — it’s locked instead.

Expected Behavior:
Locking Audio 1 should prevent any changes to its clips and should not affect other tracks (like Video 1).

Actual Behavior:
Locking Audio 1 visually shows as locked, but it’s not locked — instead, Video 1 gets locked.

I attempted to duplicate.

  • The locked audio clip stayed in place.
  • No audio clip can be selected to move once locked, and the lock indicator on the track flashes a few times.

I did not reproduce it. Do you reproduce it when you follow your own steps? A lot of times people run into a problem and write what they best can remember. Not that it is bad, but it is not “steps to reproduce.”

Me neither, I cannot reproduce it (Linux / AppImage)
I locked audio 1 and it behave as expected, no V1 locked

I see you did put some filters in your A1, what are those?
(we need to reproduce them on our side to see if it can be related)

I just downloaded the beta 26, and it’s not happening no more. But I’ll share immediately with the video next time. Thanks
