Linking an audio track and a video track

OK So I need to link a separate audio track and a video track so that when I move the video track along the timeline the audio stays in sync?

Select both clips (video and audio)
Right-click either one or the other.
Choose Group/Ungroup.

Or simply select both clips before moving them.

When I cnrtl click on the tracks I get this sub menu, with no ‘Group’ option?

Hi again

OK I have it now, the tracks just need to be selected, and then they will move together.

Perhaps this feature needs to have a button and or be mentioned somewhere as it is very useful and effectivly it is hidden.

Or perhaps you need to update your version of Shotcut. Groups were added in v24.01.28.
