Dear friends.
I was wondering if it’s possible to change the spacing between lines in text rich filter? When I do a credit roll, the spacing between the lines are to close and I wanted to know if I can change the auto line spacing?
Thank you so much for your help.
If you know CSS (style sheets), you could export your text as a html file from the text filter menu and add the styles needed to increase line spacing.
See CSS line-height
in the below. It is not exposed through the UI yet.
Dear Musicalbox thank you for your fast reply, but I am a beginner and somewhat “dumb” and have no idea how to do that. It took me 3 hours to do a credit roll, and honestly I have no idea How I did that. I lost the project several times, then I tried to save the file and there was nothing but black screen, then all of a sudden, I clicked a few buttons and it worked. LOL. If I try to do it again, I probably wont be able to do it again!!! Hahaha
Whenever it is exposed, can it be made to be keyframeable?
The problem is that although the Qt documentation says that the CSS property “line-height” is supported, that doesn’t appear to be true. You can add some CSS properties, like “font-variant: small-caps”, but if you put say “line-height: 400%” it is ignored.
@shotcut @Elusien Oh well… when that QT thing will support all CSS properties, I propose to change Rich: Text to ExtraRich: Text
@dankhara It turns out my suggestion was no good anyway
No, never. The HTML in here is not keyframable.
Thank you anyways. It’s nice to know that there are people like you that want to help hopeless people like me!!!
