Letterbox on sides

Hello

I’m making an edit that uses more videos of diffrent resolutions
1st video 1920x816
2nd video 1920x1072

I will mostly use the first video but i’ll add some sub clips of the second one…
The second video has letterbox on sides

3840x1600 aspect ratio is 16:9
1920x800 aspect ratio is 12 : 5

Can’t perfectly fit both into the same box. One of the 2 videos will show letterbox
You can use a Size, Position & Rotate filter on one of the 2 videos to make it fit in the Video mode. You’ll lose some parts of the image on the sides or the top in the process though

Instead of the Size Position & Rotate filter, which is quite a heavy user of CPU, you can also use the “Crop: Source” filter, which is much less CPU intensive.
