What a beautiful place to hike!
All the views are static. That is understandable when you are the subject and you don’t have another person to hold the camera. But for shots where you are holding the camera, consider preforming a slow pan or zoom to add interest to the view. Adding a slow pan can also hide any instability that might occur when we are holding a camera in our hands.
thanks for the very good recommendation Brian. i tried to do some pan shots with a drone, but the wind was so strong that drone refused to take off.
nevertheless, i will keep that for the next ones as it makes totally sense and will give some more dynamic to the movie.
The scenery is already beautiful, but adding a subtle ‘Ken Burns’ effect or a slow zoom in Shotcut would definitely take those static shots to the next level.
