Latest Shotcut for Mac 10.10.5 Yosemite

Hello!

I have an old Mac so the latest version I can get is 10.10.5. This version is not compatible with the newest Shotcut version. So my question is:

What is the latest version of Shotcut that I can run smoothly on Mac 10.10.5 Yosemite?

I am planing to download it from archive that I found here: https://github.com/mltframework/shotcut/releases/tag/v15.12 Which I understand is the offical and safe site where I can download earlier version of Shotcut?

Oldest available appears to be 14.05

But is it compatible with Mac 10.10.5?

And can I run any newer Shotcut to get more possibilities out of Shotcut?

Running ‘smoothly’ is a function of the hardware more than the OS.

The download page says the latest version requires macOS (64-bit macOS 10.8+)
This would appear to suggest that your OS version 10.10 should be fine.
