Keyframes based on factors such as audio level or overall brightness

Too kind, @sauron !!

Apologies if I’m duplicating any info already given in this thread, since I came in late, but I got it to work on a video clip on V2 with a colour clip on V1. Dance filter applied to clip on V2.
Just made this crude quick demo to show what I got and how it responded to random tweaks.

This is fun…animated drum hits with a simple png (and alpha).
Original is from an old Harry Belafonte clip, hence the bad quality.

AnimatedDrumHits.mp4.zip (3.1 MB)

Remove the fake .zip extension.

Blondie’s always been my favorite female singer.

Really liking this filter, saves a lot of time with animations, music driven anyway.

BTW, how does one embed the streamable player on this forum?
EDIT: Got it, thanks to @sauron

Left click the doothingee and paste the URL into the response box.

The filter has great potential for silliness.

Thanks for all your feedback and examples, everyone. I’m going to try to incorporate your comments and get this filter in the next release.

I’m really liking what I see here.
Amazing work by everyone.

@brian

Great news about incorporating it into the next release.
Quick question, are there any other parameters that can be controlled with this filter or are the current ones pretty much it?

EDIT:

Please ignore my question above, found the answer.
