Jump to end of currently selected clip

Currently double clicking a clip will take you to the beginning of that clip. It would be convenient if there was a way to jump to the end of a clip (such as doing a shift+double click or ctrl+double click?).

I know there is already alt+right that will take you to the end of the next clip on any timeline and not just the current timeline and ctrl+click which will advance to the beginning of the next clip on the same timeline.

However, if I have a long clip and I want to jump to the end of, alt+right stops at every other clip I’ve added on other timelines making it slower than manually searching for the end of the clip myself. Likewise ctrl+right only works provided there is another entry on the timeline. If my clip happens to be the last entry on that timeline, but the video goes beyond it, I can’t get to the end of the clip.

So neither one of those really match up with what I’m looking for. I hope I explained this well.

In the meantime or in case it does not happen, simply double-click the next clip or if there is no next clip, press End or Player > Seek End in the menu.

I would vote for this as well - it would be very useful. In the meantime though I have a way of reducing the effort of having to progress quickly through a timeline contaning many clips - I assign keyboard shortcuts as follows:

Q for “skip previous” and W for “skip next”,

so you can whizz through the timeline easier than having to use the Alt + Right combination, by pressing Q or W repeatedly.

It’s only reducing the number of keypresses slightly but makes a big difference when you are working fast.
