So I tried to import my .jxl image into Shotcut 24.06.26 but it failed. I would like to see Jpeg XL support in Shotcut.

+1 I also tried the other day; had to convert the file to png.

Definitely would be nice! Import and export. JXL is a lovely format (and supports lossless animation).
On a related note, is there an official list anywhere of what file formats Shotcut can read? I had a look in the documentation but either it’s not there or I missed it.
It changes frequently but see the Features paste on the web site.
