Has anyone run into issues with the fade in or fade out filters? Sometimes, it works perfectly and sometimes the fade doesn’t work and I just get a hard cut. I am not able to decipher a pattern of when it does it.
I’m just wondering if anyone has run into similar issues?
Have you looked at the filter properties and tried to check (or uncheck) “adjust opacity instead of fade to black” ? Also make sure the duration is greater than 0.
Yes. It’s usually the first thing I check. It happens sporatically especially as the file size of the timeline increases. Early on in the timeline, everything works properly, but by the time I finish the the entire timeline, the fade disappears and turns into a hard cut.
I stopped using the fade filter because of that and started using the crossfade, which is not my preferred method.
