Issue with Chroma Key / Greenscreen | 16.09.01

Recently installed 16.09.01 on Windows 10.

When I attempt to use the Chroma Key filter there is no response whether using “Simple” or “Advanced”.

I have attempted to use the key color picker, the distance and there is no change. The backround is ‘green’.

Hi,

This may seem a little presumptuous of me, but do you have a second video/image track in line with the clip? I made the mistake of thinking it wasn’t working until I realized I needed the second track on there for the green-screen to draw from.

I suggest getting a plain, black image and making it your second video track, then trying again.

You have the track order incorrect. The clip with the Chroma Key filter needs to be above something else. Or, you can click ‘C’ in the track header of V1 to enable compositing for that track to let the keyed-out areas become black.
