i was trying to make a video, but that thing makes me mad, when im dragging a photo or some video on the timeline it just goes to the beggining of timeline, this makes me mad because i must go to the part i was making, it makes me mad more when video is long and i must go to the part i was making and it takes a while, there is a video how it looks: stupid stupid - YouTube

What version of Shotcut are you using.
Go to Help> About Shotcut and tell us the number of the version.
Im using 21.05.18
Maybe you should try the recommended Stable Version: 21.03.21

It’s probably best to uninstall your 21.05.18 version first.
That is a known bug in that version that has since been fixed.

This version is not directly compatible with the projects made in version 21.05 or later, but it does try to downgrade them (and drop any Time Remap effects in the process). At this point, I would recommend to upgrade to the latest version 21.09.13.
