Is there a way to set keyframe transitions to smooth by default?

I looked in the forum for selecting multiple keyframes and change the transition as well. But there was no satisfying answer.

Hi @erik1234,
The default keyframes are linear. If you want smooth keyframes, the workaround is to create a keyframe at the end of the clip, right-click on this keyframe: from previous → smooth, then remove this last keyframe.
The keyframes you insert now will be smooth:

You should not need to remove a keyframe at the end unless you want to. The default keyframe type is based on the previous keyframe time-wise within the same parameter (row).
