Is there a character limit in text:simple?

I’m using the text:simple filter and I seem to be running into a character limit. It won’t let me add more text on the screen even though there is plenty of room for it when I adjust the font and size of the text. Is this a bug or just a limitation?

Yes, the QML limits it to 256 characters.

Thanks very much for the reply. I won’t waste hours trying to get it to fit more text then!

You can apply more than one text filters on a clip!
