Is Java used anywhere in Shotcut?

Log4Shell has a high severity vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228 / CVE-2021-45046/CVE-2021-44832) impacting multiple versions of the Apache Log4j Library. It was disclosed publicly via the project’s GitHub on December 9, 2021. This vulnerability impacts Apache Log4j versions 2.0 to 2.15.0. JavaScript and Java are not the same thing.

Shotcut does not use Java and is not vulnerable to Log4j attacks. A special note about Log4j was made in the 21.12.21 release notes for anyone asking this very question:
