This seems to happen for no apparent reason,everything is good on a project I been working on then one day this will happen…videos as well,
Did you move the photos to another drive or folder?

This is the best guess. Moving media breaks the link in the project file.

no, each project I am working on has it’s own folder titled playlist.
since all the photos in the video were “INVALID” I simply deleted them from the playlist and dragged each photo back into the playlist.
this seems to a glitch in the shotcut software because the photos in the other projects were unharmed.
