Include markers in clip cut/copy/paste

What is your operating system?
Win 10

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
22.06.23

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
I’ve selected a group of clips at the end of my timeline and cut with CTRL-X.
Then moved to the beginning of my timeline and selected the destination point, pasting with CTRL-V

The timeline control button was all selected:
RIPPLE
RIPPLE ALL TRACK
RIPPLE MARKERS

So I expect that this operation shift to the right the clips, the audio, and the markers.
But only clips and audio moved right, and markers broke the positions… I use markers for chapters in youtube so they are unuseful if they don’t move with clips.

— So I close the project and repeated this workaround way:
I created the placeholder space in the timeline moving a clip at the beginning of my timeline. Doing so all the markers, clips and audio moved correctly to the right.

Then I selected the group of clip at the end of timeline, and “DRAGGED” them where I should have at the beginning of timeline. The Drag takes 1 minute because of 45min clip…

I ask for considering the control status

  • RIPPLE MARKERS
    during CTRL-X/C and CTRL-V operations

I think the problem is this.

thank you in advance
ciao

Thanks for your comments. I moved your post to a “Suggestion” because the current behavior is working as intended.
