Import Part Of Another YouTube Video

Hi, you often see some videos that will show, say 3 seconds of someone else’s video, in the middle of their video, to get a point across. How is this done and can it be done on Shotcut

One thing is for sure, you can’t download a video from YouTube with Shotcut.

The YouTube video is copied using a downloading (ripping) service, or a screen recording program. That video is then imported into Shotcut for editing as usual.

Hi @donal, I use ClipGrab and it works fine for me.
