Import mp4 video becomes blur?

Hi,
Haven’t posted any queries for a while.
I am now using latest version of shotcut v25.03.29

When I open a video into shotcut (.mp4) format … for some reasons, it becomes blur ?? It wasn’t like this when I was using older version of 24.x.x Open any mp4 files always appears as good as the original mp4 video file.
Has there been changes in shotcut that require some re-settings before opening any new mp4 video file.

appears I need to set the export settings after reinstall / upgrade shotcut. So am fine now. Silly me.

No behavior changed here. Export always defaults to its own standard settings except for the hardware encoder option. The most important thing to check for this problem is your VIDEO MODE as Export is based upon that. If this does not match your primary source footage it must be scaled, which is going to soften them if up-scaling.
