Hello, I’m sorry for my English, it’s just that I’m using google translator.
So, I need to use a low resolution custom video mode to be able to edit since my computer is not very powerful.
What can I do to be able to export in a better resolution?
I’m using the version 22.12.21 of shotcut
obs: I’m using a custom video mode with a resolution of 240 x 135 and 23 fps
Hi @Drekola_Joga
There’s no way to export an HD video if you use 240px x 135px videos as sources.
You should use HD videos from the start (1920x1080 for example), and take advantage of Proxy Editing and Preview Scaling
Introduction
Proxy editing is the process of creating and using low resolution videos and images in places of the original or optimized (Convert to Edit-friendly) files. This provides the advantage that your computer has less work to do in realtime while editing: decoding, scaling, and effects. This is, quite simply, because there are less pixels to compute. Then, when you are ready to export, it will use the original (or optimized) files for full quality.

The Preview Scaling setting may be used to reduce the resolution of video processing when you are using a fair amount of filters, transitions, and track blending. This may help with the performance during the editing process.

However, keep in mind that the source video or images must typically be scaled down to the designed preview scale, and that will have a processing cost. See Proxy Editing for the remedy to that. Proxy generates substitute clips at the same resolution as preview sc…
I use proxy and preview scaling, but it’s still slow, what can I do?
Converting your videos to Edit friendly might also help.
The good option should be good enough.
You’ll end up with bigger files, but the editing should be smoother.
What are your computer specs?
Thank you very much, you are very nice. None of the videos I saw were teaching this very useful function that you showed
