Hello, I’m new here and I realize this is probably user error, so thanks for taking it easy on me. When I’m editing on the “edit” timeline and I try to grab the edge of a clip and drag to trim it, I’m having to zoom in quite a bit to get it to work. Is this normal behavior, or is there something I can do to change this?

Maybe there are a few things in the way while you’re trimming a clip. If Snap (the magnet icon) is enabled, the edge of the clip you’re dragging is getting caught by the playhead, markers or the edges of clips on other tracks. Zooming the timeline helps, but in case you don’t know, you can hold the Alt keyboard key while dragging to temporarily disable snapping.
