So I not sure if this is a bug or a option i have clicked but when i click cut or you the Keyboard shortcut it will cut what i want but completely delete everything else in timeline?
There are a few other things i have notices but this one is a biggie for me
so any help would be grate
Cut will remove the clip.
Splitting might be what you want to do.

You probably have Ripple edits across all tracks ON.

Thanks the sorted it. so ripple edits. Wouldn’t that cut all and then paste all? haha obviously not
