I found some menu entries which doesn’t do something. I can click, even if a project is loaded… but nothing happens.
Datei → Projekt im Ordner anzeigen
Einstellungen → Anwendungsdaten Verzeichnis → Anzeigen…
Ansicht → Layout → old (before v23) layout
What’s wrong ? Or are these not supported in ubuntu version?

File → Show project in folder
Settings → Application data directory → Show…
In general, we find that action on Linux to be unreliable and depends on many factors (desktop environment, shotcut package, OS version, etc).
Here is some history:
I tried AppImage although it also happens in Snap in the stable version.
I will try to learn how to use portable tar to test it on my operating system.
This is an old bug on some Linux builds and desktop environments. I do not know why. We simply make a high level call in Qt, and then it is largely out of our hands. Perhaps a future upgrade to Qt will make a difference. For me, on Ubuntu 20.04 with GNOME Shell, it works in Flatpak and AppImage as well as my local compile. There is probably a file missing in our portable and snap, but I do not know.
